SAILING RACE
Sailing is one of the most attractive maritime sports. Many regatas take place in the Adriatic sea, mostly in spring and autumn. These are pictures of the Easter sailing race taking place in the Šibenik Archipelago.

The "stick race" is sailed between two buoys, in this case (the Easter Race) placed about two miles apart.
A navigational race is sailed to a preset course. In this case the radius is thirty miles, around the major islands of the Šibenik Archipelago. |
