U znamenitom
djelu Put po Dalmaciji
iz davne 1774. talijanski prirodoslovac i putopisac Alberto Fortis piše:
"Prvić je izdaleka divan jer nije kao ostali otoci: visok, krševit i golih brda. Otočić je malen ali vrlo plodan. Svi nasadi savršeno uspijevaju. Njihovo vino, ulje i voće želio bih vidjeti i na Mletačkoj tržnici." |

In his famous work "Voyage through Dalmatia" written in 1774 the Italian nature scientist and globetrotter Alberto Fortis wrote:
"Prvic is a lovely sight even from afar, because it is not like the other islands: it is not tall nor rugged nor barren. It is small but very fertile. Whatever is sown brings fruit in abundance. Such wine, oil and fruit I would enjoy to see at any Venetian market." |

In sein bekanntes Werk "Reise durch Dalmatien", geschrieben in 1774. schrieb Alberto Fortis, ein Italienischer Naturwissenschaftler und Weltreiser, so:
"Prvic ist sehr schön aus Weitem gesehn. Die ist nicht wie die andere Insel: es ist nicht nackt und zottig. Es ist klein aber fruchtbar. Alles was gepflanzt wird wachst groß und schnell. Solches Wein, Öl und Frucht sah würde ich auch am Wenedige Märkte gern sehen." |
